17 lifestyle factors that can be changed to protect the brain from aging and dementia

Age-related brain diseases such as stroke, dementia, and depression can significantly impair the quality of life of older people. However, many of these diseases are preventable. A comprehensive, systematic study by researchers at Mass General Brigham has identified 17 modifiable risk factors that apply to all three disorders.
